When I joined Second Life in 2007, I saw a world full of possibility—a place to meet people, grow my business interests, and connect through the things I love.

Over time, that journey grew into a life filled with music, entertainment, technology, and community. I've had the privilege of meeting people from all walks of virtual life, sharing memorable moments, and building friendships that mean far more than any single accomplishment.

I'm creative, friendly, dependable, and loyal, and I believe the best ventures are built on genuine relationships. Whether I'm working on a business or looking back on years spent entertaining a crowd, the people have always been the best part.

A DECADE OF DJING

From the DJ booth
to the next chapter.

For approximately ten years, West was part of Second Life's club scene, sharing his passion for music with audiences at clubs, weddings, and special events. Though now retired from active DJing, music remains a central part of his life.

A SPECIAL FIRST

Runaround Sue's

West was the very first DJ ever at Runaround Sue's and served as its first resident DJ, spending approximately five years with the popular club.

BUILT FROM A PASSION

From a hobby
to digiSTREAM.

A love of broadcasting became a business—and eventually found a home in Second Life, too.

1999

The beginning

digiSTREAM began as a hobby. As more people tuned in, West expanded its reach and capacity, developing it into a viable service for real-world customers by mid-year.

2008

A new community

digiSTREAM entered Second Life, offering SHOUTcast hosting to residents and creators in the virtual world.

Charmed Weddings · Second Life

I'm also a co-owner of Charmed Weddings in Second Life, sharing that role with Chrissie Avedon-Habercom.

Charmed Weddings began with Chrissie's vision: to create a beautiful, automated wedding venue where Second Life residents could celebrate their commitment without the need for appointments or large expenses. I was there to help her build that vision and support its growth into a welcoming place for couples to create a special memory together.

For me, Charmed Weddings is another example of what can happen when creativity, care, and a shared goal come together. I'm proud to help bring Chrissie's idea to life and make a more accessible wedding experience available to the Second Life community.
